I like to keep a pen and notepad in my bedside drawer. I found that I was often making lists in my head for tasks I needed to do or was forever making mental notes. Now, on those nights when sleep is evading me and my mind is working into overtime, I can jot everything down, knowing that I’m not going to forget anything in the morning.

  • oh yeah i find that when i lay down at night my mind wanders and i might remember things that i need to get done etc so this is a great idea to write them down instead of making an effort to try to remember things

  • yes! I do this too. it’s the only way I can get my brain to ‘switch off’. Especially useful at the beginning of the school year or when going on a trip etc as I find I keep thinking of things I need to do in the morning :)

  • I keep them in my nightstand drawer too. Actually my reason is to jot down my dreams if I ever remember them!! :-)
