Hello!

Everyone knows babies get separation anxiety when their mummy’s leave them alone to do things but I am just now at 23years old finding that mummy’s get it to! My 3yr old has decided to sleep in his own bed these last few days. Major milestone, we have co-slept from birth. I know I should be proud of him. And I am but I’m also freaking out! I wake up every hour to check on him. He is fine, only in the room next door but I get so anxious that something is going to happen to him because he isn’t with me! Am I the only one? My fiancé thinks I have lost it!

My best friend turns 21 next week and I am supposed to go out for tea and leave the kids with my mil but I don’t know if I can take it! My 11month old has never stayed with anyone other than her daddy… I know they will be well looked after but I just don’t know!

  • I’m the same, it’s hard leaving your kids to take time for yourself, but we need to do it at times and the kids usually love staying with nanny
