Hello!

I am 38 weeks tomorrow & sooo excited to meet my baby! My husband is a partnered subcontractor and requested not to do any more away Work for the month prior to baby’s due date, but he comes home last week to say they are scheduled to work 4 hours away all week this week.. I know its probably just the hormones but I’m so worried now of something happening or bubs deciding to come early.. here’s to a veryy long week ahead!

  • Great to read.m everything went well. I had that worry that hubby wouldn’t make it in time for all four labours but luckily he didn’t miss any.

  • I read as I scrolled down the comments that hubby made it home so I hope that the birth went well and bubba is well. I think we all panic sometimes my hubby only worked 45 min away but I was always worried he wouldn’t make is as I do have quick births.

  • Wishing you all the best!! Although from the first signs of labour, your hubby may just have enough time to come home!

  • my hubby did the same and our baby ended up being 7 days late with a labour of 36 hours!! so there was no missing it lol

  • Im sure that if you phone hubby as soon as you start to feel labour coming on he would make it back in time.

  • How exciting! All the best. It is more common for first time mums to be late, so hopefully bub will hang in there!!!
