Best Birthday Present! - Real Mum story on MoM

My daughters due date advised by the doctors was 16th October 2011. My partners birthday is the 5th October and he really wanted to share a birthday with his daughter. I remember like it was yesterday, it was the 4th October 11:25pm, we were in bed ready to sleep, I turned to my partner and said, tell your daughter to hurry up so you can share your birthday, to our surprise 20 minutes later my water broke! My partner spent his whole birthday with me in labour and finally his amazing birthday present was born 9:24pm 5th October 2011. They share a very special bond and will be able to share 2 big birthdays with each other, an 18th and 50th.

We tried to do the same, but she arrived 4 days after his 40th!

Thats so good. He got the best birthday present of all!! My waters broke on my birthday but I had him 2 days later but we get to have 2 family birthdays in the same week!! The kids will love that extra excuse for candles & cake
