Hello!

i had my life all mapped out – career, all the things I wanted, overseas holidays every year. Kids were doing well, lots of friends, busy social life. Then I was involved in an accident that wasn’t my fault. Turned my world upside down, lost everything.
Now it’s about dealing with Doctors, lawyers & trying to find answers to medical injuries that I’ve been told there is no recovery from. I will prove them wrong, and I have, but it takes years not months.
So don’t ever take anything for granted & don’t think your insured because they will find a way to wiggle out if they can!

  • Thank you for all your well wishes. I am very grateful but I was wanting you all to realise it could happen to anyone! I remember volunteering when I was still studying & met a woman who told me her story of her husband & her living the good life, 2 kids, 2 houses, great jobs & being 30+ weeks pregnant when a drunk driver ran into her car causing the baby to be born with Cerebral Palsy & she had to give up her career due to her injuries & to also care for the child & their life was now 1 of poverty & just surviving.
We can’t prepare for this, nor should we, but just remember it could all be taken away in a heart beat. Enjoy what you have, don’t take for anything for granted & don’t forget to tell those you love how much you really do!

    • Well said! No one realises how lucky they are until the unexpected happens. You are no doubt in our thoughts from all the Mums on here.
