I started up my home cleaning business Sarah’s Sparkling Wonders back in January, and surly enough slowly but steadily it has grown and expanded, i have now got to the point i need to hire one person so i am not having to turn jobs down, You think that family would be very happy in this instance wouldnt you? though nope not my mother in laws boyfriend, i have started up a few home business before and he has never given me any encouragement only really put downs.

I placed on my personal Facebook page yesterday that i will need to employ someone and he couldnt even be positive about that, had to keep saying negative things about, and kept telling me to only take on what i can handle though how can i grow as a company if i am only doing enough work for me and having to turn customers down, doesnt seem very fair does it?

You shouldn’t hire family anyway as that will ruin any relationship you have with them. As for the OH ignore him and keep doing what you are doing cos if you are having to turn work away you must be doing something. Right.
