Teenage Visitor - Real Mum story on MoM

Hi! Just counting down the minutes now, until it’s time to head to the airport to pick up my best friend’s 15 year old son. He hasn’t flown many times, and this is the first time he’s flown alone. My 3 and 4 year old sons are super excited about having a visitor. I’m looking forward to his visit also, but worried he’s just going to be having the same experiences here that he’d be having at home. At home he lives with his single mum, and 3 much younger siblings – and most activities are focussed on the younger kids. My hubby is back at work already, so it’ll be me with the 3 boys, for a week. Not really sure what to do with a teenager, but we’ll figure that out as we go. It’s time now to load the kids into the car and head to the airport … Bye, and hope you’re having a nice day!

Hope your friends sons visit went well =) That would have been quite daunting I could imagine… When I first went to live with my dad and step-mum apparently my step-mum was quite daunted due to the fact that I was about 14/15 and her oldest at the time was only about 6

I have dealt with ten naggers, mine in fact. I think just take it as it comes, he may just enjoy being with you & your little ones or there may be something he likes. As you are best friends with his mum I’m guessing you would know him quite well, hope all goes well
