Hello!

My daughter had reflux as a bub and took longer to get last mashed foods. I did go to the gO about it and he assured me she was texture sensitive. Things improved over time, but she won’t eat mince or big chunks of meat, so I usually make it about 1 cm big and she will eat that. if it’s chicken or lamb shanks. I do still iloffer bigger meat dome times without success. Except if its bacon or sausages, she loves them
she is 2.5 years old now and tonight for the first time she got stuck into a chicken drumstick and devoured every piece of meat from it, I was so so happy, I feel like we have turned a corner. Now I will retry lamb cutlets and other different types of meat

  • My youngest took a long time to eat solids. She would gag as soon as any thing even touched her lips. But as she got older she grew out of it and is now eating normally.

  • Good to hear she is adjusting, my younget who is almost three just love his lamb cutlets as he can grab onto the bone a chew away. but he does hate lamb chops the chunkier ones.
