Hello!

The Baby Cupboard is located in the kitchen. It contains odds and ends of plastic or durable bits and bobs that I really don’t care about. The Baby Cupboard has saved me lots of times when the said baby wishes to explore the kitchen, espcially when I am preparing food. The cupboard door will be opened and items will be flung out onto the floor. Or Baby will chew them and carry them around in the mouth.

Baby sometimes tries to climb into the cupboard. And that is fine because that is what the cupboard is for. Baby has not yet found the surrounding cupboards that contain Things That Are Heavy, Things that Will Hurt, Things That Are Not To Be Thrown.

I am looking forward to the time that I can reclaim the cupboard but for now, it has been a source of joy many a time. And for a fun safe play area, what more could you want.

  • My mum had a cupboard like this when I was a baby, she even has photos of me playing in it. I really should organise one for my son…

  • I really should do this but for now he is more interested in banging the doors

  • We have this also but it’s a bottom draw that is full of plastic odds and ends. It’s such a great idea.

  • I remember those days – although I wish I had thought of a cupboard just for them. My boys loved the saucepans and tupperware

    • Tupperware and saucepans are some of the best toys and kids have an absolute ball playing with them.
