Hello!

Walked inside after hanging washing on the line to find my 4yr old daughter’s face covered in black texta & and grumpy as you can imagine. A little bit of investigation work and I realised ( to my horror ) it was permanent marker. After taking a second to compose myself I asked my 3 and 4 yr old daughters “How did this happen”. Miss 4 replies “she did it” & when I look over at miss 3 the look on her face is just priceless. It’s hard to stay serious at times like these…. the fun didn’t last when I remembered I had another to pick up from school in less then half an hour.

…Now the rush was on to see how much of it I could get off in time! Quick search on Google and it turns out there a lots of different things you can try….Luckily for me my first choice was sunscreen. YES! Sunscreen It worked amazingly. All I did was dab it all over where the texta was ( I put a fair bit on. ) and left it there for a while…Wiped it off with a damp face washer. Honestly, I’ve always thought if you got that stuff on your skin you just had to wait it out and slowly it would fade. But this little gem is a great tip for parents so…Just thought id share =D
