I keep being asked this question all the time, and thought some of you may be interested in my response. I was given as a wedding gift a thermomix a few months ago. For the cost of the the appliance, it really makes you think you need to use it to make it worthwhile. I do find some things i still want to do the old way – but there are plenty of benefits when I do use it.
1. It is fast. What use to take me a few hours, I can whip up in half or less the time. Working F/T makes getting dinner on the table a lot easier.
2. It is healthier – I make a lot more from scratch, less buying artificial stuff and more making things.
3. It opens a world of possibilities in your cooking.
It is a new way of cooking, and I do enjoy being able to make a lot more things in less time – and having the options of really exploring different foods!
