Amid all the health information out on the Internet I recently stumbled upon a good website. Well actually our local GP has a facebook page and from time to time shares their posts! The website is called Prevention (www.prevention.com) that has some excellent information that you can browse.

If you subscribe to their facebook feed (for free) everyday you can get information on a variety of interesting topics like exercise, diet, ageing, general health, what to ask your GP to check etc. and it is really useful for all sorts of random topics.

I highly recommend this website. As its name suggests it is all about preventing disease and helping you stay well. Enjoy!

  • Great advice. Thanks heaps for sharing :-)

  • It sounds like a very helpful medical site. Lets hope it covers topics from newborn to old age and the problems associated to it so that it helps to understand how to help people of all ages.

  • Is this related to the magazine “Prevention”? I used to read it years ago, and I was always able to find interesting tips! Is this the facebook page? https://www.facebook.com/preventionmagaustralia/?fref=ts

    • A good magazine with helpful tips.

      • Not sure if this Australian page is related or not! Looks interesting thought. The site I found is American but they do have a magazine too!

      • I am not sure either. And looking in Internet I can’t find anything to clarify my question! :-)

  • Thanks for sharing the health link.
