This year really is all about big birthdays in my family. I had a niece turn 16 in Febrauary, My little girl turned 8 and started year 3 (which she says means shes a grown up now because she is in Primary now). In July another niece, who I am very close too, turns 18. Excatly 2 weeks later my eldest baby girl will turn the big 21. Then in October my little man will be turning 18. 1 month later my sister turns the big 40.
I was very young when I had my first 2 children. 15 when my daughter was born, 18 when my son came along.(That though is a different story). At the time I was pregnant with my son everyone said 3 years is a great age gap. I had to agree. The kids loved each other and to this day are still very close. ONly problem is we have a double whammy milestone year. An 18th and a 21st in the same year. NO, 3 years is not a good age gap. Not for my purse, not for my sanity (planning parties) and definately not dor my emotions.
