I LOVE being single! Granted my past relationships were terrible, abusive, etc etc. but I feel minimal stress now compared to then. Just worrying about my kids and myself and being able to freely be myself is worth more than having a partner who’s less than ideal.

Maybe they are in relationships, know how good they are and wish fir you to experience it. I agree tho, some people try too hard. Once you’re in a relationship, the others start. When are you getting engaged, married, having babies, buying a house etc etc etc

How frustrating indeed! Glad you have the conviction to stick to your guns and live out life to how you see fit for yourself and your kiddies and you are absolutely right it will happen when it happens. Hope everyone backs off and gives you some breathing space with this subject, I’m sure if there were aspects of their lives that you drilled them over they’d get upset twice as fast!

I think it’s that thing where you want people to be happy, but can only imagine happiness on YOUR terms. Most of them probably mean well.

good on you, your kids are most important, I have just recently found myself single with 2 also and to tell you the truth im a mess at the moment but I realise once I get threw this ill be stronger than ever and no man will ever hurt me again.
