Its a world, within a world, where people do really care, can help one another, have recipes to share, or like me questions to ask, and answers to receive.. mosquitos.. vanilla essance etc. Used to get very depressed, but now, turn to here, and when I read other stories, why mine is just a bubble in the ocean… It has expanded my world, even though I have spina bifida, can be out socialising from my chair,… thanks for all those who make it so worthwhile and care…I am now chasing a princess mini pancake maker instruction book and receipt sheets, so hop efully someone here can help me.. thanks a million everyone…

  • Aww – this is so lovely to read. I’ve recently moved and MoMs has been a lifesaver for me too. The only problem is that it can be terribly addictive and my house is looking a little shabby atm!

  • I feel exactly the same as you guys. Sometimes when I come home from work and take care of my little boy, in the evening when there is just me I love turning to this site for my relaxation time. We are all such a unique blend of people with much to share. I wish each and every one of you that has just shared your stories of illness and loss the very, very best.

  • I’m so sorry for your lost. My January will never be the same again as it will always reminds me of my Dad’s birthday and the last time I spoken to him. I hope you’ll feel better. Good luck!

  • I’m so sorry for your loss, it has been 14 years since losing my dear Dad & we all still feel the sadness of not having him around. I will also be thinking of you in your up coming surgery & pray you have a speedy recovery.

  • I agree whole hearted lay. I feel like I belong, love the recipes, can ask any question knowing ill receive honest answers. My partner is in hospital an we speak an he has moyamoya disease, I’ve shared my story, read others, laughed, even shed a tear. It’s also rewarding in a literal sense & the comps & reviews are so fabulous. I’d be lost without MOM’s :)

    i love coming on here
    Ive just lost my Dad, His funeral is tomorrow and the support and love from strangers on here is amazing!
    I am also preparing for my prophylactic breast cancer surgery in the next 4-6 weeks and I feel so loved and support on here. Plus the advice, tips and ideas for being a mum of 3 helps me alot also
