Winner Winner Macaroon Dinner! - Real Mum story on MoM

I was very lucky to win a $150 macaroon making class! A local company on facebook had a competition where you had to guess a number between 1 – 500. I guessed 376 and the winner number was 377 as I was the closest I won! I was ecstatic!

I love to cook so this was a real treat for me! Everyone was so lovely! There was a group of 14 of us and we all did really well! Macaroons are tricky to get right but we all had a huge amount of success! We got to fill them with nutella, chocolate ganache and a gorgeous white chocolate filling. I was in heaven!

We learnt lots of little tricks and tips and got to take home 20 macaroons that we made! I must admit I think I ate a few too many but was too hard to resist!

Oh! That’s amazing! I love macaroons! But I’ve never tried to make them. Is it really a hard job? What are your favourite ones? I love the pistachio ones!!

  Caramel!! They are easy and hard. More so hard because there are so many steps you can mess up
