The Therapeutic Goods Administration have issued a recall for Weleda Baby Teething Powder due to choking concerns.

Weleda Australia Pty Ltd is recalling batches of Weleda Baby Teething Powder 60g due to a potential choking hazard.

Batches are being recalled because small, threadlike (up to approximately 1 cm long and less than 1 mm wide) slivers of white plastic could potentially peel off the jar cap upon first opening.

Do not use any Weleda Baby Teething Powder from an affected batch and return it to the place of purchase for a refund.

If you have any questions or concerns about the health of your child following consumption of this product, talk to your health professional.

  • A teething powder……I’ve never heard of this product. Good old Bonjela and panadol got me through childhood illnesses

  • These recalls really freak me out, there’s just so many of them. I often wonder how many kids are hurt or injured before the recall takes place. So scarey
