Nice idea regarding the lights since they are a pain to unravel each year, but I think the drawbacks of this will be that 1) it is bigger to store (and harder because of the lights which are fragile and attached to those branches that you have to fold away and squish into a box). 2) Plus can we get spare bulbs easily to match the multi-coloured/plain options … a simple break could render the whole tree useless! 3) You are stuck with lights on the tree.. can’t use them around the house for anything else; otherwise many years ago we might have got a smaller version when first invested in decorations!

I miss living near a Aldi, use to shop there all the time. Doubt one will ever be built in North QLD.

We’ve always had ome with fibre optics that change colour. Keen for a new one that looks more real life son though.

Wow, that sounds cool. I think I still want to decorate our tree with my little one. We make a night of it and invite a couple of my single girlfriends over to help us decorate the tree. Some nibbles, some wine and some decorating. (No wine for the little one of course. Lol.)

Oh I’ve been looking at getting a tree that is simple to set up … I think this might be what I have been looking for!

My local aldi has one set up just after the registers. Its a nice enough tree but has a big dogs leg in the middle. Hopefully its just user error ????
