It may be fun and games decorating the festive tree but seriously, who has the time these days! Aldi has the best solution for time-poor (and cash-poor) families. Start lining up now – ’cause the upcoming Aldi Christmas Tree is going to sell fast.

I know some of you love the tradition of picking a real tree, hauling it back to your home and stringing it with tinsel and lights. But for me, it’s just a hassle and I love the idea of buying the no-effort Aldi Christmas Tree for a bargain. Clearly, I’m not the only one as this tree has sold out year after year.

The discount retailer has announced that part of its special buys next week will be a pre-lit Aldi Christmas tree, priced at $99.

What I love about this tall tree (it measures 2.13 metres), is that it comes with fairy lights already attached. How clever is that! It has 1,200 mixed pine needle tips with 300 dual coloured LED lights.

Best Tree Ever!

Fans have taken to social media to show their enthusiasm for the Aldi Christmas Tree.

“I bought one 3 years ago and it is so so good. Better than my $400 one from David Jones that I had previously!” one person commented in the Aldi Fans Facebook group.

Many others are saying how easy the tree is to set up, since all the branches are already attached.

“I’ve had it for 3 years and love it. It’s just a couple of pieces that link together, then you fold down the branches. There are so many branches that it actually looks decent even if you can’t be bothered unfolding / fluffing up the smaller branches.”

Multicoloured

The Aldi Christmas Tree comes with the ability to switch the colours of the lights from rainbow-coloured to white or a mix of both.

The Winchester Luxury Pre-lit LED Christmas Tree will be available on Wednesday 4 November. But you know how it goes – there’s no guarantee how many trees each store will get so it’s best to get in quick.

There is also more festive fare on offer at Aldi on the same day. You can buy garlands, tinsel, tree decorations, fairy lights and more.

  • We’ve never had lights on our tree. They look lovely but I worry about fire.

    • Probably depends on the age and behaviour of your children. I find it too dangerous too in my household

  • But I love seeing the kids lovingly place their homemade ornaments (made with varying degrees of skill over the years) on the tree!

    • Think there should still be place for the home made ornaments ?

  • We already have a Christmas tree and I don’t want to buy another one. We have limited space in the house not to mention storage.
    Looks cute though!
