Reviews on the chair praised the innovative design. “The quality of the chair means it is robust and comfortable,” one review said. “The lava back is toasty warm…I love it!” Others, however, said there is still room for improvement. “One thing it is really lacking is rain cover,” Kidspot said. “If it had something to stop me getting wet, I AM ALL IN!”

We think this is a genius idea! Even though most parents would brave all weather conditions to support their kids and cheer them on, this would definitely make life a lot easier! The chair retails for $139.95 but we think it’s definitely worth the investment.

I sit out in the cold every weekend watching lacrosse games. I need this chair! I never knew something like this existed. It would make me a much happier spectator.

Bet that buying the batteries will cost an arm and leg to make this chair so warm – and you have to charge the batteries people, so your electricity bill will go up [perhaps through the roof] so that you have a warm chair out at the sports ground. And while you sit in the chair, you can’t really see what is happening on the field, and your child will be upset that you didn’t see [nasty] hit him, or when I made sure the team got a goal. Sorry ladies, the sports field isn’t where you go to be glamorous and warm – you go there to cheer on your children.

Be very handy for sports or camping, a bit pricey but would pay off in time. Halls where children do some indoor sports can get chilly too.

is there anyone who wouldn’t like a heated chair for winter sport?? Hopefully by the time my boys are playing sports each weekend, any of the issues that some of the reviewers mentioned will have been fixed!

We could have certainly made good use of these when we went to Motorsport events. We used to put plastic across our legs and hold large pieces over our heads (we tucked it in behind our backs). Most times our clothes didn’t get wet. Most people were “too proud” to do that and got soaked. The little ones used to sit on our laps so we kept them dry too.

This sounds like the answer to all my problems! I currently stay at my daughters dance/cheer for 3 hours a night and its starting to become freezing. With this chair i will be able to be comfortable and not freeze by butt off

Sounds like a great chair simply for camping, not just weekend sports. Another good buy for weekend sports would be the heated jackets, they are also water proof. Bonus
