the first time i saw this video it brought me to tears. such a powerful and moving video tht proves just how judgemental and critical of eachother we all are.

I just treat others how i like to be treated. my daughter doesnt even here me call myself nasty names if i can help it, like oh i feel fat or am fat etc
If my daughter uses the word fat i tell his its not a nice way of speaking about someone and she should use Big instead, i was bullied at school alot so I just want my children to not be bullied or grow up thinking its ok to bully someone on there looks.

This is one reason that I don\’t want to get involved in \’Socal\’ media – it appears to be far too negative for me.

You know its an interesting thing that I can remember my mother making a comment many years ago when Princess Anne had given birth to her first child and was leaving the hospital. In those days it was pre baby car seats and Princess Anne sat in the back seat while holding the baby and her husband drive the car. The media commented about her sitting in the back seat away from her husband. My Mum said “No matter what she did she couldnt win…if she had sat in the front holding the baby I bet they would have said that she should have put her seat belt on but would the baby be safe if there was an accident. She sat in the back so the baby was safer” ( such was the thoughts of the day) …..
I think people have always been negative and bitchy its just that now they can do it and feel that no one knows who they are so they can be even more nasty.

It\’s disgusting what people said about this woman, especially since they are hiding behind the anonymity of the internet. But I am not surprised.
I try to teach my kids its not about looks, but what is inside that counts. I hope it makes a difference.

This concerns me as a mother of a young girl. Society is not good to young girls.

yes i was shocked! I remember going through high-school and yes you would notice people with this but you would never ever say anything about it and you wouldn’t treat your friends differently. You would only ask people what they were using to get rid of them because you wanted to get rid of yours. I don’t know what kind of world the kids are growing up in that this sort of abuse, means nothing! You can talk so horribly and no-one cares. Everyone attacked this girl but no-one said that this behaviour is not on. People need to supervise their kids. People need to keep more of their lives to themselves. People need some damn compassion! Why are we not trying to tell this girl that it is ok and that she is still A GREAT PERSON! society places no value on your personality and your worth comes from your looks! celeb role models aren’t real role models. They promote products, not self esteem.
