I think they gave up on this.

Have always cooked my own as the cooked ones are always cold by the time you get them home and once nuked in the microwave they become very tough I find.

i had no idea about this – awesome! there are many times when there are no chickens left when i go there.

This is the first I’ve heard about it, good idea though. It is disappointing when there are none.

Is it possible to get one without seasoning which I can’t eat for medical reasons? I’ve yet to find one that has none at all?

So, I tried to do this at a Launceston store tonight and was told they only honour this deal until 6pm! So, what the spokesperson is quoting above just isn’t true. I’ve contacted Coles Facebook about this and am happy to share their very unhelpful comments and clear discrimination if anyone is interested.

I never knew about this and there has been plenty of times I’ve gone to buy a chook and they’ve all gone.

I’m so annoyed I didn’t know about this earlier. I went to buy a roast chicken from Coles last night and they didn’t have any. I wish I’d known about this. I would have grabbed a voucher for a free one.

What a great idea, so many times ive been disapointed from woolies so i think ill swap to the local coles

It depends whether you think it’s lucky to miss out when you want one, I guess.

You can be guaranteed that now this has been made public Coles will make sure their chickens are well stocked so they don’t have to give any away. Too money hungry.

Never seen this posted at any Hobart/Tasmanian stores. We always miss out with all promos.
