This Kmart Cheese And Wine Hack Will Change Your Life!

Kmart has done it again, selling a serving tray that can be adapted to make your evening wine and cheese platter much more relaxing and totally Instagram worthy! A clever mum posted her hack in the popular Kmart Mums Australia Facebook page, saying that $15 folding tray just needs a couple of small adjustments to be the perfect accessory to your ‘mum’s night in’.

A Portable Party

Sally said that her father-in-law cut two holes in the table to hold wine glasses and she now has a portable party wherever she goes. “So happy with my new wine and cheese table!” she wrote in the post. “My lovely father-in-law did his carpentry magic and he even lacquered it for me too!” Though the cheese and wine table is technically a serving tray with foldable legs, Sally says the hack means it is now perfect for the beach, sports matches and even in the bath – the possibilities are endless!

Commenters on Sally’s post said the hack was genius. “OMG we need one of these on the couch with us,” wrote one impressed mum. “Perfect Mother’s Day present!” said another. It seems that Sally isn’t alone, with other mums modifying their furniture to create a place to rest their drink and snacks.

If only everyone’s father-in-law was as carpentry savvy as Sally’s! This is such an affordable and thoughtful gift idea that adds a personal touch to a practical item. Now to get ourselves a drill and saw to try this for ourselves…

It is great for gifts, parties, use at home and Kmart does always seem to come up with great ideas all the time. So handy and thoughtful yet also a nice appearance too.

Wow, there are so many creative ways KMart mums use KMart products. I’m usually blown away when I see their hacks, I would never think of them for myself
