We love everything about Bondi and have compiled a list of things to do in and around Bondi.

Here are the top 10 on the list:

1. Swim in the iconic Bondi Icebergs pool

What better way to start a morning by the beach than dipping into the fresh salt water pool in South Bondi. The kids pool is great and they even offer a little spot you can grab a coffee if you don’t fancy the water.

2. Enjoy a yummy Bondi breakfast and great coffee

Bondi is full of fantastic coffee and breakfast spots. Here are some of our favourites.

3. Head to the weekend markets

On a Saturday Bondi Farmers markets offer a great breakfast and food and on a Sunday at the Bondi market you can get into clothes shopping and much more.

4. Walk from Bondi to Bronte

We love this walk, along the cliffs and over the hill. A great way to see some of the NSW coastline and enjoy the Sydney scenery. Walk details here.

5. Lunch at the Bucket List

The Bucket list is a fantastic spot to watch the surf and enjoy a nice seafood lunch. Family friendly and always a good atmosphere. A definite must for a day in Bondi.

6. Give surfing a go

Bondi is a great place to rent a soft board and learn to surf. Yes it does get busy, but is a fun activity not many cities have to offer.

7. Escape the chaos and enjoy a coffee and a good book

Gertrude & Alice is a fantastic spot that is part library, part book shop, part tea and coffee heaven. We often escape here to relax and be inspired.

8. North Bondi Grassy Knowle

The North Bondi grassy knowle is a popular spot to sit and enjoy the view over the beach. The playground is great for kids and there are public BBQ’s for everyone to enjoy.

9. Grab some dinner

Bondi is a hub of great eateries from all round the world, for Thai head to Bangkok Bites or Rice pot. Italian head to Gelbison’s or Bondi Trattoria , tasty tapas, sliders and a hipster scene go to Bondi Hardware.

10. Go and stay at the Bondi Beach House

This lovely B&B is tucked away behind the beach and offer luxury accommodation. There is a wonderful outdoor area with BBQ facilities and a DVD collection for the rainy days. Find out more here.

  • Before I came to Australia long ago, was told about Bondi and visited to have a go…grown bit to commercialised for me,Better place around Sydney I like you see. Manly when my kids little was my idea trip, still is and love the ferry ride too, still has an old world charm it is true. Which never ceases to me delight. Great inexpensive places too eat, events and markets are much more than alright. This is one of the many places that me delight, Bondi too me is just alright . Photo is me at the Rocks, wonderful too, history for me rocks, the ride too was wonderful too do,acting like a tourist, but live at Bulli (Wollongong for many years) we have wonders to see and do
