We Tried Ben & Jerry's New Cookie Dough Ice-Cream Pizza And We're Obsessed!

I’m a huge Ben & Jerry’s fan. Before the creative ice-cream brand landed in Australia, I’d design my holidays around where I could visit a Ben & Jerry’s scoop shop. (I’m serious!) But just when I thought B&J ice-cream couldn’t get any better, the innovative duo go and launch a ‘Dough-licious’ ice-cream Pizza and my tastebuds are smitten.

This isn’t the first time Ben & Jerry’s have given their own unique twist to a fast food classic. Earlier this year, they designed the ‘The Impossible to Eat Burger’ – which was a sweet, brioche bun topped with Biscoff spread and crunchy waffle pieces and then covered with Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and finished off with their signature hot fudge sauce. Pure decadent happiness.

And now Ben & Jerry’s have introduced their special edition ‘Dough-licious’ ice-cream Pizza, the latest menu-item in its exciting ‘Fast Food Series’. Who needs cheese on pizza, when you can have cookie dough topping? I’d take a Ben & Jerry’s ice-cream pizza over a Pizza Hut special any day.

Doughlectable Ice-Cream Pizza

The ‘Dough-licious’ ice-cream Pizza starts with a scrumptious baked cookie base and then this is topped with a chunky, swirled ice-cream (you can pick between Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough or Chocolate Fudge Brownie Ice Cream). Then it’s time to get creative with toppings.

We picked big bites of chocolate-studded cookie dough and crunchy nuts and drizzled with hot fudge sauce. OMG, the combination was tantalising taste-bud paradise. The crunch of the biscuit base, combined with the chunky, yummy ice-cream and the delicious toppings was simply sensational.

While we went more traditional with toppings, you could also opt for brownies chunks, Oreos or choc dipped pretzels topped with caramel sauce. Or you can even go all out and order a pizza with the whole LOT.

You can either order the ice-cream pizza as an individual slice ($10.90) or as a whole pizza to share ($29.90) and these treats are available for a limited time only, through Ben & Jerry’s’ physical Scoop Stores as well as through UberEats.

Looks delicious. Sadly no Ben and Jerry’s here. Given their prices in the supermarket this would probably be a one off thing to try.

First of all there are no Ben & Jerry’s shops where I live but mostly the ice-cream tubs themselves are way over priced. Can’t miss what you’ve never tried and have no intention of trying it even if I got the chance.

This looks good, but I am not sure I could eat a whole ice-cream pizza like a can a normal pizza, but I sure would like a slice.

oh wow – that looks so good in the close ups! – my belly would love it so much and would my girls, I would imagine though given the price of just the tubs that this would also be a higher price point?

Sorry don’t really like this idea and also don’t really like Ben & Jerry’s ice-cream. Have tried a few and felt they left me wanting a nicer taste. Good thing we are all different and no one size fits all, hey???

Definitely the brownie bits!
Unfortunately it’s a bit far for us to travel to just for this so it will have to wait until summer when we visit Bondi.
