Very sad, but it was not the flu that killed her, it was the secondary infection because her immune system was so weak, it is so important to look after your immune system so it can deal with all the germs in the world.

Yes grieving the loss of your wife whilst having to be there for your kids who grieve the loss of their mum must be hard. But the shared grieve also can give comfort and a bond.

This winter the flu has been terrible. Poor mum. And poor family that has to live without her.

It must be so difficult coping with emotional children who are grieving too.
I know of a guy whose wife passed away. He was so emotional he just had to “let it out” a few days later. He waited until he knew his children were sound asleep, had a shower and “let it out” while the water was running. He felt a bit better and less stressed. He found it much easier to relax and help his children too
