Aside from Warding off the undead, garlic has a whole range of other uses not related to cooking!

1. As an effective pesticide

Aphids, Whiteflies and caterpillars. These pesky critters that eat for free in your garden can be controlled naturally using garlic. To create this organic pesticide, mince three cloves of garlic and let them sit in two tablespoons of Mineral oil for 24 hours. After this, strain out the garlic and add the oil to a spray bottle with a tablespoon of liquid soap. Fill the rest with water.

2. Mosquito repellent

Do you hate using harsh chemicals on your skin to ward off this pesky mosquitos? Try this natural solution to ward off these dysons with wings. simply leave a few minced garlics in an ounce of mineral oil for 24 hours, strain and mix the oil with 2 cups of water and and a tablespoon of lemon juice. Add to a spray bottle and apply liberally.

3. Weight Loss aid

Garlic can be very useful for losing weight. Eating a little bit of garlic will send signals of satiety to your brain, making you feel fuller faster.

4. Skin Cleanser

Some women use the powerful properties of garlic to cleanse their skin. Garlic is effective in removing toxins, drying out and tightening your skin. Finely mince some garlic, olive oil and sugar. Massage onto skin in a circular motion. This may burn, so take care if you have any open wounds. Moisturise with an organic moisturiser after.

5. Fish Bait

Garlic is used as a repellant for many different types of animals, however, when it comes to fish, they can’t get enough of it. Get a marshmallow, ball it up and add some garlic to it. This will attract many different types of fish from all around.

6. Cold syrup

Finely mince garlic and steep it in hot water for a few minutes. Add some honey and ginger and drink the tea. This will clear up mucus and assist in easing inflammation.
