If your family is nuts about Nutella (I mean, who isn’t?!) then clear your calendar because the ultimate Nutella-lovers’ experience is coming.

Hyatt Regency Sydney has partnered with everyone’s fave choc-hazelnut spread to create a sumptuous family high tea experience – but you’ll have to be quick to get your hands on tickets.

The high tea will include both sweet and savoury delights, perfect for everyone in the family. The three exclusive sittings will take place in Hyatt’s restaurant, Sailmaker, with Executive Head Chef Sven Ullrich turning his hand to crafting the most exquisite Nutella delights, including Nutella & Go Mousse, Nutella B-Ready Cheesecake, and Orange Chocolate Scones.

Parents can relax with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine on arrival, while kids aged between six and 18-years-old can sip on a juice or mocktail. Throughout the two hour sitting guests will also be treated to Rabbit Hole teas, hot chocolates and baby chinos.

Make sure you add this to the school holiday must-do list!

  • I’m not mad about Nutella but am definitely a fan of High Teas. This is a novel idea that I am sure will get a great following. It’s always nice to have an event like this to try to make catch ups or celebrations just that little bit different and fun.

  • Melbourne too has quite a few High Tea venues that one can visit, and I will probably do that this year for my birthday. High Tea is a lovely way to celebrate and most teas start around 12 for a 2 hour duration for different teas as well as the decadent cakes to be partaken. Cheers to all those who use the system.

  • Even when a high tea event cannot be attended a high tea can be had at home. We love to bake and put on our own high tea; it is such fun and terrific for a weekend family activity. Choose favourite sweet treats and age appropriate cold or hot drinks and have fun!

  • Bugger, I used to live in Sydney . Would love to take my daughter who is obsessed with Nutella (seemingly on or in something) 🤒)
A one off experience/special occassion would be pretty cool. I would assume that the high price ticket is only because of the Hotel where the High Tea takes place..

  • That sounds like so much fun! Considering the location and the exclusive hotel, the price really isn’t that bad for high tea. I wish they would do something like that in Tassie. My son and I both love Nutella and it would be a really special experience with him as he also LOVES hot chocolate.

  • I really do enjoy participating in a high tea event because they really are such good fun. A Nutella high tea sounds like a wonderful and delicious event to attend. I really do like the sound of the cheesecake. I imagine it would taste rich and be filling and very moreish.

  • This would certainly be a wonderful treat outing, though I’ve no doubt that any kids involved would have a sugar high to end all sugar highs when they went home!

  • Oooh this looks super tasty i would definitely eat this and so would my kids but Sydney is a bit far for us to travel for a high tea even if it is Nutella. Hopefully if it’s successful (and I’m sure it will be) it’ll happen in other Srates as well:)

  • Oh goodness, this needs to happen in every state! I absolutely love a high tea experience, and who doesn’t love lashings of Nutella?!? This would be such a lush afternoon out, and something really special for the kids. I love events that are inclusive of families and giving them the opportunity to attend

  • I couldn’t explain how much my children love Nutella, wether it be on toast, sandwiches with the crust cut off (of course) or just a good old spoonful out of the jar. We would love to have an indulgence day of Nutella but unfortunately we live in Perth western Australia

  • This sounds amazingly fabulous! Sadly not in our home state! I am a huge Nutella fan and would love to try this one day! Orange flavour with Nutella sounds sooooo yummy. Would also pair beautifully with a strong black tea and a dash of milk. High teas are one of my favourite things to do!

  • Aw that sounds pretty special and decadent for those who love Nutella. However we are living in Queensland so not close enough. Also I have to admit that we don’t have one single Nutella lover in our house, we are more fans of savoury treats and personally I don’t think chocolate and savoury go well together.

  • Unfortunately not in the same state we are but what a lovely experience it would be! Hoping i get to experience a high tea experience with my girls whilst theyre still young. It would be a precious memory that id want to create with them. I think it’s just so cute!

  • Sadly, nowhere near us, but I love the idea of Orange chocolate scones. I love orange chocolate, and scones are a lovely treat, so combining the two sounds very tempting. I have to say that overall it sounds like a bit of chocolate overload – though I doubt the kids would mind at all.

  • Ok now I am jealous, I don’t live anywhere near Sydney. This sounds really fun and a great activity to do with the kids. Can you send them over to WA please. I love nutella. I love that they are offering kids a mocktail or a juice while the adults get a glass of wine.
