A popular nappy cream has been recalled due to some reports of skin irritation after applying the product.
Curash says it’s recently become away of a ‘potential adverse reaction regarding short term skin irritation’ linked to the use of two batches of Curash Nappy Rash Cream.
Some users have reported increased skin sensitivity, redness or a rash after applying the cream. The symptoms subsided after the affected skin was washed with water.
Curash says that compare to the number of units sold, the instance of these reaction is ‘very low’.
The company is recalling two batches of Curash Nappy Rash Cream, with the following batch numbers:
- Batch #1116727
- Batch #1118263
Curash says no other batches or Curash products are impacted.
If you have an affected batch, you should immediately stop using it and return the products to either:
- The store where the product was purchased to receive a refund; or
- The below address by sending the product, customer’s name and contact details in an envelope without
stamps, addressed to: Reply Paid 87447, Church & Dwight (Australia) Pty Ltd, P.O. Box 83, Frenchs
Forest NSW 1640. Consumers will be sent a retailer gift card as a refund when the product is received.
Curash says all its products, including Curash Nappy Rash Cream, undergo ‘rigorous safety assessment procedures’ before release.
