It’s the cult-item that has previously sold out in minutes, and now ALDI’s famous Traditional Rocking Chair is back.

With a $199 price tag but the designer look of a much more expensive nursery chair, the ALDI Traditional Rocking Chair boasts a velvet fabric and tufted backrest. It also has interchangeable legs so it can either be a rocking chair or standard nursery chair.

ALDI has brought back its rocking chair several times since it first launched in 2017 and it continues to be super popular.

It’s due to be in store at ALDI as part of its Special Buys on Wednesday, 27th July along with a host of other baby items, including a baby monitor, play mat, and the always popular Children’s Table and Stool Set ($79.99).

  • I did see this catalogue come in to my inbox this morning. The only thing that caught my eye was the thermometer because ours is temperamental. Otherwise, my kids are too old for the rest of the items for this special buy.
Wonder how quick the rocking chair will sell out this time?

  • You gotta love those Aldi special buys and some of these look so good but what puts me off going to Aldi is the queues and sometimes a little push and shove

  • My youngest is almost 3, so a little old for the nursery chair, which is a shame because it does look really nice….. but the car/booster seat has caught my eye…

  • Long term the rocking chair isn’t that great. Ours is starting to make noises when sitting on it.

  • Not sure about the rocking chair. But the learning tower is a great price. Unfortunately I bought some somewhere else already for my twins.

  • That’s an incredible price. My rocking chair looks identical and was $600!

  • A good chair is worth its weight in gold! I got a glider 9 years ago and even though I don’t use 8t that often I absolutely love it. It’s as good as new

  • It looks so comfortable. I like the look of the other products as well.

  • I wish I had a rocking chair when I had my kids.
Now there would be nowhere to put it.
That’s a pretty good price tag though!

  • A kid’s size table is so useful… my kids have outgrown it, but now use it as a base for Lego creations…

  • It’s lovely but I prefer the glider type chairs. Traditional rockers worry me with little fingers and toes crawling about the house.
