Aldi's Pre-Mixed Cocktails Are Back...For A Limited Time Only

It’s time to get the party started…Aldi pre-mixed boxed cocktails are back..but hurry – they won’t be here for long.

Last year, Aldi introduced 2L casks of popular premade cocktails and now they’re back as part of the limited edition alcohol special buys.

Party In A Glass

Each cocktail cask holds about 10 cocktails and is priced at only $19.99 each, which is pretty much the cost of a single cocktail at a bar.

I love that you don’t have to mess around with a heap of different spirits and flavours to get the authentic cocktail experience. All you need to do is grab a glass, some ice and perhaps a slice of lemon or a cherry on a toothpick and you’ve got yourself a party in a drink.

Two Flavours

During the previous release, there were four flavours to pick from: Cosmopolitan, Pina Colada, Lime Mojito and Gin & Juice. This time Aldi have pared back the selection and only are selling the Mojito and Pina Colada varities.

Let’s take a closer look at the two different flavours on offer:

VOK Pina Colada

A delectable mix of white rum, pineapple juice and coconut, bringing the tropics to your door.

Lime Mojito

A refreshing mix of white rum, Bickford’s lime juice and fresh mint flavour.

It looks like the reviews for these convenient to-go cocktails are glowing. Back last year, when the boxes first appeared. shoppers in the Aldi Mums facebook group were raving about them.

“Yes it’s sooo good, I brought 2 today,” said one.

“Finished one already but the headache now! Wasn’t sure if it’s the weather or the cocktail,” said another.

“I had it today. I loved it!”

“Omg my favourite. I feel like I’m in a cruise ship when I’m drinking them but be careful cause you can’t stop at one glass!”

The cocktail casks are available now at selected NSW, ACT, VIC and WA ALDI stores while stocks last. Unfortunately the pre-made cocktail boxes are not available in Queensland or South Australia due to liquor licensing restrictions.

I haven’t drunk alcohol since NYE 2019 due to pregnancy and breastfeeding but I might have to make a trip down to the NSW border to pick up a box (or two, or four) for when I start drinking again
