This is a great christmas gift idea

Material

1 piece cardboard
60cm fabric
30cm lace
30cm ribbon

Method

Glue fabric to an A4 size piece or cardboard (Let dry)
From the corner roll until it makes a cone shape.
Then glue and hold together with a peg.
Let dry for approximately 20 minutes
Add lace around the top. Then add a ribbon as a handle.
You can stick a Christmas decoration on the front.

Notes

My son and i make these for presents for school teachers for christmas. Its great fun and easy for kids. It depends on how fussy you are you can add a colourful fabric on the out side and a plain on the inside and sew around the edges. But for the kids its easier to glue :)

Is the material on the inside, outside or both? Cant quite tell from the photo. They look super cute though, and with a bit of playing around, I will work out what works best with the things I have. I am sure my family will have a fun time with this idea – thanks for the inspiration.

What a great idea, to involve the kids in making something that they could personalize. A few sweets in it, and teachers would love it, and it’s something they could use to decorate their Christmas tree at home.
