A great project for the kids and useful as gift boxes or for storing stationary, sewing material or pretty much anything.

Material

  • 1 Paper box
  • Paint
  • Paint brush
  • Puff paint

Method

  1. Give the box a base coat of colour. Let this dry completely.
  2. Using the puff paints add patterns and decorations.
  3. Dots work really well. You may need to let the paint dry in between colours depending on the pattern.

Notes

You can usually buy paper boxes quite cheap at the two dollar shops.

  • This looks simple, but I believe you need a small amount of artistic talent, otherwise the designs just won’t look any good
