This project can be made as simply as you like – you don't have to die the pasta. You can also make multiple different colours to make a rainbow crown. Great for dress ups.
Material
- macaroni pieces
- fishing line
- food colouring
- glitter
Method
- Die the macaroni by placing drops of food colouring into a sealable bag with the macaroni. Shake until the pasta is evenly covered. Sprinkle loose glitter in and shake again. Allow to dry.
- Measure your child's head to determine how long the fishing line should be. Cut accordingly.
- Tie a knot in the end of the line and let your child thread the macaroni pasta on.
