A fun quick activity for little ones learning to use scissors

Material

1 Paper plate
1 Black pen
1 Pair of scissors
1 Stanly knife

Method

Draw the body of your bird on the centre of your plate with the tail being part of the rim.
Cut out a section of the plate edge for the wings, then cut out your bird body
Using the stanly knife cut a slot along the body to slot the wings

Notes

You might be able to find a template to print if you are not a confident drawer (we are all competent, it's all about confidence!)
