Hello!

Sensory learning activity for kids.

Material

  • 2 tbs self raising flour
  • 1 tbs salt
  • 2 tbs water
  • 6 drops food colouring - depending on depth of colour desired

Method

  1. Mix all together. You may need a little less or more water. Make it the consistency of yoghurt.
  2. Paint away. Once the masterpieces are finished, microwave for 30 seconds. PUFF!

Notes

I noticed my 22mo was hesitating and then putting the cotton bud into the correct colours. He was learning recognition of colours.

  • I did this with my granddaughter & it broke my microwave so I think it would be better to use a conventional oven. Expensive Mother’s Day cards!
