My mum runs a business and takes care of her six children while helping me with her four grandchildren! She is a superhero!

My mum deserves this prize as she’s just AMAZING! She’s always been there for me, and I’d love her to win based on most recent events…. I’m 44 and 36 weeks pregnant, also have an 11yo son, we’ve just fled from an abusive relationship and she opened her doors for us – even though she’s only in a 2 bedroom unit and on a disability pension, nothing has been to hard for her through this rough time, she’s honestly not only my mother, but my guardian angel!!

Lost my Mum many years ago on Christmas Day, and she was my best freind

My mum is the most unique mother ever! She’s more like my best friend now I’m an adult but she still deals the mother hand when necessary. She has supported me through the diagnosis of bipolar and throughout the journey of my recovery never once asking for anything in return. She encouraged me when I felt like University was too hard to keep going – supplying me with endless coffee and her editorial skills. She survived a poor childhood and traumatic marriage but she came out the other end a true survivor. She is my inspiration.She is my friend. But most importantly she will always be my mum.

My Mother saved me when choking on a hard boiled sweet when I was about 10 by slapping me hard between my shoulder blades & the sweet flew out across the room.

With all my mum gives to me and my familyi would love to give her something back to say thanks
