Ergobaby Swaddler – Sweet dreams for you and your baby

By two years of age, a child will have spent more time asleep than awake. A healthy amount of sleep is essential for babies as it directly impacts their mental and physical development, as well as happiness. The practice of swaddling has been used for centuries in many different cultures as it recreates a womb-like environment and produces a calming and soothing effect. Research demonstrates that when swaddled correctly, babies are safer since they are more likely to stay asleep on their backs. Swaddling also keeps your little one in REM sleep (the most restorative, deepest sleep) for longer periods of time…so you can enjoy more sleep too!

The Ergobaby Swaddler is an innovative, ergonomic design that combines several unique features to ensure your baby sleeps safely and soundly. The Ergobaby Swaddler is the only swaddler to feature a patent-pending Healthy Hip Positioner which helps keep baby’s hips in an ergonomically correct ‘frog-leg’ position, as recommended by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.

The design features a unique ‘removable leg pouch’ which allows for quick and easy nappy changes and use with harness systems commonly found in swings and bouncers. The Ergobaby Swaddler is an all-season sleep solution – simply leave baby’s legs outside the pouch to ensure peaceful sleep in hot weather.

Packaged in pairs and available in two sizes, the Ergobaby Swaddler is made of soft and breathable 100% cotton terry knit, that stretches with any movement and helps regulate baby’s body temperature for maximum comfort.

  • I would love to win one of these for my baby because the Ergobaby Swaddler looks like it holds babies nice and snug as if they are being held – just like in Mummy’s arms! A calm, safe, secure, sleeping baby is good for the whole family! We need this!

  • Babies love the sensations that swaddling create, I would love to skein so I could gift this to a friend! She’s going to need a good sleeper!

  • It would keep her cosy all night long, especially in these cold winter nights. I love swaddles! SHe keeps getting out of hers!

  • Oh my, she kicks all sorts of blankets on and wakes up cold throughout the night, this would lifesaving!

  • My firstborn was (and still is!) a terrible sleeper. I only had two tricks to get him to sleep; walking around in the Ergo carrier and putting him in a swing. However, in the swing he’d have to be unswaddled because the traditional blanket swaddle wasn’t very swing-compatible. With the next one I’m determined to have a fantastic sleeper (I’ve earned it!) and I want to start off on the right foot, with an Ergo swaddler!

  • With my little boy our now worn out swaddle was amazing. With a new bub on the way, a safe, cosy ergobaby swaddler would have us all sleeping soundly.

  • it will stop my baby being able escape his wraps. he will sleep longer as he wont wake himself up and will stay nice and snug

  • My little girl loves a nice deep sleep, but a lot of the time it doesn’t last for long. We hear the grunting and see her moving her elbows until finally a hand appears out the top of her once tightly swaddled muslin wrap. This always results in her waking herself up! Every time! The ergobaby swaddler will help keep those little arms in place comfortably and keep her hips safe too, which I think will lead to a better sleep for me and her.

  • I had trouble with my daughter sleeping so I’d like to try the is with my new born to see if there is any difference.

  • Never good at doing the blanket wrap, but the swaddler looks so easy that anyone could do it to make bubs more supported and comfortable

  • With expectant daughter’s twins, having snugly swaddled bubs ensures they won’t be ‘startling’ themselves awake and will sleep longer and more soundly.
Means contented bubs and less frazzled Mum! Plus nappy changes are easier and quicker with Ergobaby’s clever design, allowing for faster resettling, for returns to sleeping! Looks like Gran will need to buy one (or two) maybe!

  • Bub settles well when tight,
    Otherwise the blankets he fights.
    Keeps them warm and secure,
But lower SIDS risk is the main lure!

  • I’ve been up all night with a bub kept waking up as he kept getting his arms out of his flannelette wrap!! Hopefully, a ergobaby swaddler would help this situation and we’d all get more sleep!!

  • It would help her feel safe.

  • I would love one for my grandchild to keep him snug and warm safe and happy.

  • Babies in the Ergobaby Swaddler sleep for longer as they feel more secure, allowing parents to get a better night sleep.

  • Safe & warm – Snug and tight
With Ergobaby everything will be alright :)

  • My 10 week old would be snug unable to have her reflexes wake her up, and they never make muslin wraps big enough to swaddle properly!

  • Keeping her warm and cosy just like being in the womb while helping reduce the risk of hip dysplasia.

  • Oh, how snug and warm would bub be. Too late for me but a friend is having a baby and she’d would love this.
