  • I’d pick The Missing Mother because between school runs, laundry, lunches and locating everyone’s missing shoes, I already live in a mystery! I need a gripping thriller I can escape into after bedtime, preferably somewhere nobody asks me “What’s for dinner?” for at least 300 pages. Even my bra deserves a night off!

  • Recently re-reading The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas to make sure my son could handle it completely changed my perspective. Seeing the story through a child’s eyes made the cruelty and innocence hit harder, pushing me to view history, consequences and empathy differently.

    Go through teen hood, and learning the ropes now on how these influences take impact on them, would help me immensely.
