To celebrate the home entertainment release of the hit movie ‘Peter Rabbit’ we’re giving you the chance to win 1 of 20 ‘Peter Rabbit’ DVDs.

Bringing to life one of Beatrix Potter’s most adored child’s tales, Peter Rabbit, voiced by James Corden (‘Into the Woods’, ‘Trolls’) is a tale of friends who fight for ownership for McGregor’s vegetable garden.

This heartwarming flick is voiced by an all-star cast including Margot Robbie (‘I, Tonya’, ‘Suicide Squad’) as Flopsy, Elizabeth Debicki (‘The Great Gatsby’, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2’) as Mopsy, and Daisy Ridley (‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’) as Cotton-tail with Rose Byrne (‘Bridesmaids’, ‘Spy’) as Bea and Domhnall Gleeson (‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’, ‘Ex Machina’) as Mr McGregor.

Gardening Fun

To celebrate the home entertainment release of Peter Rabbit, we’ve got a fun video that encourages kids to get their hands dirty, building and nurturing their own veggie patch at home – just like in Mr McGregor’s garden.

Working with individual portable planters, herb nerd Reece Carter and Greg (from The Grounds of Alexandria) plant carrots, radishes and lettuce, and will show you how you can grow your own sustainable garden.

Our kids (and the grown-ups) absolutely love this movie so make sure you enter to WIN a copy for yourself to keep.

  • They may be small but they are deady, they may be green but trick you at first sight.Brussel Sprouts do not make the list, ever, never. Its fartsville central when they are consumed to a level that requires evacuation.Worse if consumed while on holidays.

  • What are vegetables? We are fruit bats.

  • I hate squash but my kids hate pumpkin, I think it’s the texture.

  • I have a 21month old toddler. She basically refuses to eat anything other than fruit, cookies and Weetabix. But she seems to hate most vegetables equally, so I have to hide them in things.

  • Brussel sprouts won’t pass our lips, they’re absolutely vile.
Even the horrid smell of them makes us run a mile!

  • the odour of asparagus pee wafting up the nose turns everyone off and growing up with popeye saying spinach is delicious, he must have issues, the lingering bitter taste could only be used as a form of punishment

  • I’ll eat any vegetable. But I don’t because the list of vegetables my kids refuse to eat would exceed my remaining word limit.

  • I’ll never say never to trying something and it really does depend on how they’re cooked but the one veggie I can’t tolerate very much is eggplant.

  • Broccoli because it tastes disgusting!

  • Cooked cabbage as it’s just nasty

  • Celery! It is one that I don’t even force the kids to eat, the flavour taste like bitter water, serves no purpose on our dinner table!

  • We dont eat peas in this household, partner does not eat due to being forced to eat “a huge bowl” full by his uncle as a child and not allowed to go to room till he had finished. I get it, but i loved peas, mint peas, mushy peas.

  • most of green vegies, because they said they are not yummy.

  • We refuse to eat Brussel sprouts as they taste so mushy when they are over cooked and they make us pass wind all the time – Pew….

  • Son: Raw carrots because they are crunchy.
Daughter: Cooked carrots because they aren’t crunchy.

  • We hate celery!! Nasty taste and stringy stalks…we wouldn’t eat it even if it promised instant weight loss!! We’d rather look like Porky Pig!! 🙂

  • This is the key to time management – to see the value of every moment.we aet all veges except hot peppers

  • Mushrooms because as much as we cook them they still feel raw and though and they don’t really taste nice. Sorry 🙂

  • Charlie is 18months old and eats ANYTHING………..except peas! I don’t know if its the colour, the shape or the taste but he refuses to eat them. He can even detect them when I try and camouflage them and picks them out!

  • PEAS because they are horrible green explosions that taste terrible and their skin sticks to the roof of your mouth and is too chewy
