We have all been there… the sleepless nights, the worry if we are doing the right thing, the dreaded bedtime hour – how do we get our children to sleep through the night without controlled crying?

Here to help are Helen Stevens and Cindy Davenport from Safe Sleep Space, who want to give you the chance to win 1 of 5 Safe Sleep Space packs to gently help your child sleep soundly.

  • Dinner, bath, story book, cuddle, bottle and bed :)


  • dinner , read a bed time story and they fall aslpee, no different than anyone else


  • With an 11 week old, we don’t quite have a routine yet however this is how I’d like to it to play out in the not too distant future- breastfeed, bath & into pj’s, play, cuddles and reading books with mummy and daddy then down to sleep to snooze the night away.


  • For our 9 month old we do a bath then her night time bottle and little bit of a play, bedtime story and then kisses and a lullaby to sleep at 7:30pm


  • they go to sleep after they do their homework


  • Chaos! With a newborn and a toddler the withcing hour hits and it is chaos. The routine is feed, wash, quiet time, teeth, stories and bed. Sounds easy but it isn’t with a crying bub and a wilfull 3 year old!


  • Our routine is tea, bath, storytime then bedtime before 8pm for my youngest and 8.30 pm fr my eldest child.


  • my granddaughter crawls up on to my knee & says boo which is Bottle or boob where not quite sure.


  • with Miss 7 & Miis 4 it we always tried to maintain the routine of dinner, bath, teeth, books and bed. With Miss seven weeks we have no routine whatsoever, so I need to get organised and establish a routine soon!


  • dinner, play, bath, songs and cuddles then bed.


  • Our bed time routine for our 14 month old consists of Daddy bathing her, a milk feed from Mummy, lots of cuddles and kisses, being tucked in with ‘flat bear’ and the phrase, ‘sweet dreams, love you.’


  • Our bedtime routine consists of baths before dinner, dinner, family time, brush teeth, special reading time with Daddy, prayers and chats with Mummy, then kisses and lights out. :)


  • Start with dinner, bath or top-to-toe, brush teeth, breastfeed, playing with us for 10 mins or so (if hasn’t fallen asleep during feed), popped into sleeping bag and book read in room with Pooh and into bed.


  • dinner at 6.30pm bath at 7.30pm and 8:00pm bed with a book being read and soft lullaby in the background


  • Bedtime routine is Dinner at 5:30, Bath 6:30, Playtime with Daddy until 7:15. Mummy gets bottle warmed up and time for night nights. Miss 21mth then goes around to all the toys, walls, doors, anything she passes and kisses then all good night. In teh cot, she has her Violet for sleep music and Pink bunny to snuggle into. 10 mins later, out like a light.


  • We have the 4 b’s

  • Our bedtime routine is hubby and I bath our son together, hubby dresses him and reads him a book then I wrap him up and myself and my bubba lay down for a comfy cuddly feed with ocean waves playing gently in the background, then burp, cuddles, i love you and sleep. We also pre-warm his bed slightly (lucky boy lol).


  • Our routine is simple and stress free. Teeth, nighttime nappy, bed for reading, cuddles, kisses and then lights out! No fussing and no hassles.


  • my little boy is 13 months and still has not had a settle night sleep no matter how much comforting i try


  • bath, tea, and always a bedtime story before they go to sleep
