A mermaid night light. Yes she is in a water tank and swims up and down but it has a nice blue night light so little ones if they wake have a mermaid swimming up and down looking over them .. this is my best tip for a child’s room .. Kmart 20 dollars .

We haven’t done a kids room makeover yet, that’s why this prize would be so good. My son still sleeps in a cot in our room, but with our daughter fast coming up to needing it, this prize would make his transition into his own room much smoother.

Use neutral colours so the fad doesn’t wear off and you are forced to repaint the room and redecorate!
