Winners for this competition

  • Our car ride to Adelaide from Melbourne when our little one was less than a year old. So ideal as she slept so well almost the whole way! stopped half way for lunch and then set up baby room when we got to Adelaide!

  • going from one grandparents house to the next knowing we would be playing more backyard cricket with our cousins. such fantastic memories…

  • Windows open, spray bottles of water in hand, seat belt burning in to the shoulder left bare by my singlet top and dreaming of air conditioner all the while playing, laughing and singing with my siblings as the dry paddocks passed by on our way to Nan and Pops.

  • Getting stuck in snow at traffic lights on a steep hill. I closed my eyes and prayed for help. When I opened my eyes I had 4 (hunky!!) guys pushing my car out of the snow and up the hill. My wish worked and the family were so grateful!

  • TAKING GREAT NANNA AND CHILDREN FROM TODDLERS TO TEENAGERS TO SEE THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS DISPLAY AND GUESS WHAT WE ALL AGREE “DON’T THEY LOOK PRETTY” WHO SAYS WE DON’T REVERT BACK TO CHILDHOOD?

  • Caught in traffic with a very newborn premmie Bub in the backseat, on the way to Pottsville from Brisbane. Bub needed a feed and a bum change. I’ll never forget pulling over and running around the back of the car and 4 cars also pulled over thinking I’d had car trouble! My faith in humanity was restored by some incredible people who took the time out of their Christmas Day to help a Mum in ‘need’

  • Going out to Dubbo when only young, the red dirt and dust looked so fun, now when I do the trip only focus on not hitting roos, but what else can you do

  • Road trippin’ to the Gold Coast and singing Christmas carols and eating candy canes!

  • Going to hunter valley gardens to see all the christmas lights, listening to christmas carols on the way. My son was just so fascinated by them and cant wait until our new bubba can enjoy them too.

  • My 2yo is obsessed with lights so driving around the streets looking at all the lights and hearing ‘wow! Cool!’ Coming from the back seat is the cutest. Then there’s the 10 trip from Melb-Syd…thank goodness for Maccas!

  • Silent Night, Sleepy Night;
    Christmas Eve to see the lights.
    Glorious wonder on their face;
    Then onto Nan and Poppy’s place.
    Excitement is starting to gro-ow;
    Santa is coming. Ho! Ho!

  • PLaying eye spy all the way from MElbourne to Sydney ahh the memories!!

  • 3 years ago, with our first child in tow, travelling 250kms to spend Christmas with my parents and brothers. It was our last family Christmas before my Dad died 🙁 Now with 2 more kids we celebrate every Christmas realising how precious it is!

  • Driving home from Christmas lunch and listening the kids talk about “the best day ever”. The stories about their cousins, and of course about Santa visiting and Grandad missing it all cause “he went to the toilet”

  • We go down to Melbourne to see family! 10 hours with 2 little ones but I love it! It’s great bonding time!

  • Last Christmas we were travelling to my brother and sister-in-laws for lunch. “Shake it Off” came on the radio. My son who was 20 months old at the time started singing “Shake it Off” at the top of his voice and shaking his hands at the same time.

  • Definitely last Christmas! My almost 4 year old got to see a variety of wildlife on our breaks and his reactions were adorable! Found some good fishing spots too 🙂

  • Travelling to grandparents place for christmas and the excitement for santa to arrive

  • Love looking forward to a relaxing break after a stressful year and watching my baby enjoy new experiences

  • Heading home from holiday. Sometimes you can have too much of a good thing together
