My favourite Halloween costume is my son’s… He writes stories about supernatural beings and each year he brings one of the characters he has created to life in costume. The attached pic is him as his character “Gentleman Mummy” (and his lil sis as Elsa from Frozen…!). He has created a rich universe of characters in his stories, and his costume each year is my favourite!

I love the simple white sheeted ghost costume, still one of my favourites, it never goes out of fashion and always has the same meaning you can change it up a little but it’s still a ghost.

Last year my son and I tried our hands at papier-mâché and created the “Happy death day mask”. I also dabbled in some face painting. We had so much fun that night.

A witch, whether she be a good witch or an evil, cackling (I’d have to work on that though, don’t have a great cackle) or granting wishes, able to wiggle her nose or transport herself elsewhere in a flash, she would be my favourite because I could dress anyway I liked and I could be witchy! Thanks

A cat costume! My little one LOVES our family cat and to be even closer at halloween definitely makes her day!

My favourite Halloween costume is anything day of the dead related. I just love the culture that surrounds the day of the dead and think the outfits, flowers and makeup are amazing and take a lot of effort. They are so colourful and I love the meaning behind the day of the dead.

My dynamic duo take turns wrapping me in toilet paper with a tiara so I am the Mummy, they let me do the same to them so we are a trio of terror

My daughter said her favourite costume is a pumpkin as no one would want to eat her 🙂

Wearing a costume that shows a hint of man-boob, highlights my poor fashion sense and provides proof of my questionable hygiene. Yes, it’s Halloween all year round in my world!!!!!!!!!!!!

The one I’m working on at the moment for this year: Maleficent. She’s an amazing Disney Villain that many people will recognise. Plus I don’t have to wear any fake blood this year.
