  • With a young growing family, washing is a daily chore that never ends, a Hills Hoist will provide all the extra space to dry in the fresh air, an economical and practical way to dry our family clothes while also looking after the environment by not using the dryer.

  • During lock-down, my family have been doing anything we can to entertain ourselves. With a HILLS HOIST clothes-line, we will finally be able to re-enact that great Aussie classic movie, “Picnic at Hanging Frock”.

  • My Dad’s Hills Hoist,
    Has seen it’s day,
    It’s all because of me!
    During my childhood,
    The poor old clothesline,
    Was swung upon in glee.
    Twenty years later,
    It’s beyond repair,
    Battered and forelorn.
    Would love to give Dad,
    A brand new line,
For the clothes to dry once more!

  • The original hills hoist was the most wonderfully designed machine known here in Aust. Unfortunately we no longer have a big backyard where we can put in a hills hoist and kids can swing on them, though they have been told not to. The modern hills hoist try to get the benefit of a wind tunnel near your apartment or small back yard. But I’d love one because I still want to buy Australian

  • For the convenience and prestige of owning the best hoist in Australia, and for the memories!

  • For me it’s not just about the practical application, hanging up the washing, but having fun spinning the kids around like mum used to spin me

  • Busy working mum’s dream…
    Cost saving, efficient, wind-drying “machine”!
    Trusted, durable, ergonomic clothesline…
    Hills Hoist.. “clean winner” everytime!
Hubby backed his vehicle up to the door..
Took off, line caught, Hill’s Hoist no more!!
Took clothes to the line.. realised…
Tangled mess needed replacing! Love MOM’s perfect prize!!

  • Wet washing, supposed to hang it on the line, supposed to dry very quickly when the weathers finnne … but when you don’t have a line it’s hard. Help me live out this childhood play school song

  • After 13 years in Aus, I have yet to try spin the goon bag on a Hills Hoist. I think my youngest is weaning himself, so maybe it’s time to try!

  • We’re currently using rafters in our outdoor car garage to hang clothes. A hills hoist would save our garments from rain, dust and bugs, plus splinters and spiders that end up in our “clean clothes” plus money saved from regular rewarding. Would be a massive ‘hoist’ in the right direction!

  • My fondest memory is growing up and swinging on the hills hoist I only have an undercover clothesline and would love a traditional one

  • I’d love a Hills Hoist to help with modernising my back yard, We have an old line that has drooping lines and the part that holds the line up so she can have it on different heights no longer works so its very low

  • Six foot sons, know it all for sure…
Yet since January first, we can rarely see laundry floor!!!
At twenty one, seventeen, eighteen they now wash their own, don’t get me wrong…they constantly moan!!
Current fold out line has limited space, a removable Hills Hoist offers space saving Grace.

  • The Hills Hoist is quality product that lasts the test of time, unfortunately the kids like to use it as a swing and tend to grab onto my towels that im trying to dry and spin around which the Hills Hoist doesn’t really like, now sagging and needs replacing

  • My son Alex is ‘HILLS’larious. He said, “Mum, our clothesline resembles a scarecrow with protruding hands; it’s scaring the posties. They won’t come near our home”. Alex is a bright spark despite his autism, always by my side ‘HOIST’nestly, keeping me company, helping me across the ‘LINE’ during our quaran‘TEEN’!

  • I’ve lived in my house 16 years and I’ve never had a clothesline this would be perfect for me as my teenagers go through their clothes and it’s hard to keep up with all the extra clothing and bigger clothes all the time

  • Would love an upgrade to a Hills Hoist. The foldable retracting lines would be amazing in our small backyard. Our current clothesline is tiny and outdated leaving our sheets all bunched up. What a fab prize!

  • Seeing this MOM giveaway seems like fate,
    because today, this very date,
our much loved Hills Hoist suddenly bust,
after thirty years use, succumbed to rust!
    Where our clothes hung,
    kookaburras sung,
    and happy kids swung…
    Part of our family history,
hope another soon lives under our old gum tree!

  • Because ours has lost the handle so it’s stuck at the one height and it has been swung on once too often and has a dangerous lean happening

  • D_rying the clothes
    R_iding the carousel
    E_excavating up the pole,
    A_nd
    M_aking a humpy
    S_o why wouldn’t I want to win!
