    • I encourage my daughters to live a healthy active life by walking the dog each day and going to bed on time.

    • By getting out there with the kids and setting a great example and showing them Health and Fitness is fun

    • My son is still learning as he is 2 so by eating healthy myself my son sees it too.

    • Children love to copy their Mums and Dads so set the example by exercising every day and eating healthier choices, cooking at home (no takeaways) and lots of play, laughter and games.

    • It is really an everyday thing and it’s about a balance of eating well so you can sneak in the naughty things without feeling guilty by saying no!. Although it’s great for kids to be in out of school activities which can cost a fortune spending time just playing around ,tips ball play anything kids love it when we get involved. with the three kids i try to make the most of weekends!

    • We encourage happiness, we encourage play.
When it comes to healthy eating, we make sure we lead the way.
We bike ride on weekends, kick balls and enjoy a bit of dance!
We encourage our kids healthy eating, by growing our own vege plants!

    • By getting them outside in the fresh air and engaging in activities that stimulate their brains and exercise their bodies. They like making their own healthy lunches and snacks and are always on the look out for healthy alternatives.

    • Have fun outside playing games, enjoy themselves and have the time of your life, be active by being yourself and do what you do best. PLAY!

    • We make sure we have active weekends,
      The activities never end.
From picnics, ball games and hikes,
Plus we go all together on bikes.

    • We encourage a balanced diet & explain how healthy foods are good for your body (milk for bones etc etc). We enjoy being outside & active together; running around, swimming, dancing & even jumping in puddles on rainy days.

    • By following my own healthy example. Everything in moderation and move, move, move.

    • We as a family show by example with very little tv and lots of imaginary activities to stretch the kids brains

    • We give our 3yo choices on treats. He’ll chose a prune over a marshmallow, a banana over a biscuit and a strawberry yoghurt over a piece of cake. I think allowing indulgent foods and not denying them prompts healthy eating. We do the same for outings, park or indoor activity centre.

    • This would be such an amazing prize to win. Being a Mum of 5 I also try to encourage them to eat healthy, fruit & vegetables etc. I’m very lucky that they all enjoy drinking water and they all also love to run around ( which I class as exercise for them ).

    • Eating breakfast is the first step my children take to starting their day. Also plajng outside and going for walks.

    • Lots of outside play, family bike rides, trips to the park & a healthy, balanced, 99% processed food free everyday diet with occasional treats that will hopefully prevent sneaking in of junk food at later opportunities. We also encourage childrens help in the kitchen prepping meals.

    • With a 14 foot trampoline out the back, as well as 3 chickens and a rabbit. There is plenty outside to keep them active. As well as 2 nights a week we do Taekwondo together, then they also come to fit club with me twice a week.

    • I makedishes more exciting. hide vegies if the dont like in vegie patties. decorate plate with funny faces made from vegies.

    • Move or lose it I always say. And to get the kids off the couch, walking, talking and getting out and about is a great way to get them active.

    • By example, I show them what I eat and how it makes me feel energised and strong.
