I think it is important to capture you family’s memories so you can look back at them and see how wonderful your family is and the family has those memories for all time.

In my brain, I prefer to enjoy life through the lenses I was given naturally not purchased

Obviously I have nightmares about losing my phone or dropping it in water and it dying….along with my photos. But I have gotten much better about backing things up and recently creating photo books online. One for each holiday. They are so lovely to have.

Always am in the moment- however i really believe in capturing memories through images as my kids LOVE looking back on memories and puts you back in the moment !

Gone are the days of not having a camera with me. I’ve missed so many beautiful shots because of this in days gone by. It’s sad that these precious family photos are now on my computer and phone and not adorning the wall or in albums like they should be.

its very hard to treasure every loved moment but try to live that moments by printing pictures or store whole data.when we want to live that moments again we just open and saw them

we try to have an oral tradition where we tell stories of those ones who have left is an people who are with us. the young ones love the stories

My iPhone 8 and its portrait mode is life. My eldest child is 15, we have so many printed photos of him and next to none of our youngest who is 6 years old. It’s time to fill the empty frames with our cherished family adventures.

As often as possible! My parents are both frail and I love to snap away. Photos are a fabulous way to bring back memories and capture happy moments.

I photo a lot in black and white and I love to photograph natural scenery. The grandkids walking into school the kids sitting by the river bank. I often look for photos of my grandkids parents than I try to make a photo very similar. I have a photo of my mother getting bread of the horse and cart man than I took a photo of my grandkids buying bread in the shop to explain to them how the ages have moved on in many ways.

I used to use our video camera and digital camera but these days the phone does the job easily and perfectly

I like to capture memories for today to share tomorrow but print so we have an ongoing image to always copy. As one of my hobbies is genealogy I am all too aware that yesterdays images are a real treasure for future generations.

How to capture memories
1. Open eyes and watch and listen to the little things that bring a smile -create mental image
2. Use phone or camera and snap away
3. Eventually print, post, share or PowerPoint and put on hard-drive, tv, Facebook, scrapbook album, etc.
