If you are not comfortable kissing your kids on the lips then dont. If you are comfortable with it then go ahead. Stop spending your time watching celebs and trying to find things you can pick on them for. Work on perfecting your own life rather then trying to drag others down to make yourself feel good.

I kiss my son on the lips and people who think theres something wrong with that need to mind their own business in my opinion. There is nothing sexual or wrong with it, its just a show of affection. But celebs can never please everyone anyway!

I’m worried about the warped minds that think this is sexual or inappropriate in some way. In my family we always kissed on the lips. It wasn’t weird, it was just us. Parents, grandparents, I kissed them all on the lips. I kiss my daughter on the lips. It isn’t weird, it is our way of showing affection. If I kissed on the cheek it would be like kissing someone who is only an acquaintance, which is what I do. To each their own, but I don’t see anything wrong with it at all. Clearly he loves his daughter, what is wrong with that?

I’ve never liked the thought of kissing anyone but my husband on the lips. I do know of some people who always kiss their kids on the lips and these kids are now adults. Maybe they are just doing this for the photo and it was her idea?

No. Basic hygiene. And it does rapidly become ‘inappropriate’ (at least for my background/culture), so wouldn’t really encourage it in even the youngest of kids. Plenty of other ways to show affection etc.

my almost three year old won’t rest until he has had his real kiss and you also have to say mwah or he will chase you down until you do. Kids are innocent, leave them that way if my kids want to kiss me on the lips they can, there is nothing sexual about it

this is absolutely ridiculous.I think they are adorable. People need to stop shaming other parents. At least he is being a supportive dad.
