Fitness model who shocked the internet with her tiny bump gives birth

Former Miss Universe finalist and fitness model Chontel Duncan hit the headlines earlier this month after posting snaps showing her barely noticeable pregnancy.

News.com.au shares, the fitness mum from Queensland, Australia, gave birth to a baby boy Jeremiah Thomas Duncan on Friday.

She took to Instagram to share an adorable picture of her newborn son.

Healthy happy baby boy, absolutely nothing medically wrong with bubba, he is extremely alert and very strong shocking the staff here with his arms and neck strength.

Absolute champion on the boob & feeding very regularly no problem.

My recovery is smooth also with no complications.

Miah has the most incredible dad who has been my rock throughout this entire experience, without Sam I don’t know if the experience would had been that successful. Sam has done basically everything and picked up the tricks, tools & just the challenging ‘new born’ tasks like a bloody natural.

Love at first sight I have now experienced & that new found attraction to your husbands “babies daddy” I know does exists & I can’t picture anything more attractive then seeing your husband nurture their new born.

Thank you to my incredible team who helped us finish off what has been such an amazing experience.

Also I BIG thanks for everyone for all of their supportive comments, I do read every single comment & it honestly makes me so happy and smile all day from your kind words.

Chontel recently spoke out about all the controversy around her pregnancy saying – “Each woman carries different and this most certainly doesn’t mean one is doing something wrong or not healthy.”

She posed bump-to-bump with her friend at 21 weeks to show just how differently women can carry their babies. Her friend was just four weeks ahead in her pregnancy.

The backlash just never stops for her though. Sharing on Facebook Chontel wrote –

“Was sent these as I have not seen them…
They are STILL going on about this, what did people think I was going to deliver?
P.S those Dumbbells someone has photo shopped onto Miah I never gave him weights.”

The original image that Chontel shared shows her gorgeous little man with the caption – “When your dads a DJ this is very appropriate.”

I went to Ante natal classes with my first and their was a woman there who we would all look at and wonder why she was there. One day they had question time and one of the other Mums asked her why she was there? She said she was actually 34 weeks pregnant. She would rock up in a tight t-shirt and a leotard. She had a figure to die for.

Wow! You go girl I’m a naturally smaller figure girl and I still couldn’t maintain that whilst pregnant by week 25 I was already huge 🙂

Great photos. I am not a fitness addict by any means but with my first born when I was 36 weeks pregnant I only looked a tiny bit bigger than her first photo. My 2nd pregnancy with the same man, I gained 20 kgs. It really depends on the person, the baby and their dads genes.

I was shocked when I first saw her baby ‘bump’ too, it was tiny the whole way through pregnancy. I was wondering how big and/or healthy her baby would be. Happy to see bub was a good size and is happy, healthy and thriving like every baby should

For some it’s not obvious until the expectant Mum is about 28 – 30 weeks.
Others may only be about 16 weeks. The ultrasound shows the baby is in a little more fluid than is normal, same as previously.

Wow, it’s amazing how different people show differently. I know I certainly looked nothing like that; I was a whale haha!
