  • Hold or cuddle your baby when they’re crying a lot.
Sit or hold your baby upright during feeding to stop them swallowing air.
    Wind your baby after feeds.
Gently rock your baby over your shoulder.
Gently rock your baby in their Moses basket or crib, or push them in their pram.
Lay them across your lap and gently rub their back.
    Try infant massage.
Put a warm water bottle on your baby’s belly.
Some say to have them suck on a pacifier.
Soak them in a warm bath.

  • I hope the situation has improved as it normally does with age. warm baths are good and lie them down with the bassinet or mattress tilted up a bit also a rolled up towel under their belly.

  • it can last a while I am afraid to say, Goodluck

  • My little one also had this problem, I found for him personally infacol didn’t work at all, I had a lot more luck with infants friend. We only had the problems at night time and it seemed to really help settle him and help him to sleep a lot deeper. We added it to his nighttime bottles.
Good luck, I can very much relate to this and it’s awful feeling so helpless

  • Infacol is really good! But make sure your little one really has colic before you start using it, otherwise it can make them more uncomfortable.

  • it can last quite a while, change her milk if you can and make sure you try and help getting wind up

  • it will go away but can take up to 2 months.

  • there are some good comments here

  • hope you found out what wrong with her.

  • My two girls both had colic and it lasted a long time. The best thing I found was drinking fennel and chamomile tea about 30 mins before a breastfeed and giving 1-2ml of the tea directly to baby up to 3 times a day. It worked better than all the colic drops and I tried them all. If you are breastfeeding there are foods you need to avoid I suggest google them and if u use formula then try different formulas and bottles also found tummy or side sleeping to be very helpful and even proped up on a pillow under the tummy ( for day naps while watching closely), heavy massage on the belly before bed but not soon after a feed, they cried but it would relax and rellieve them much quicker and lastly sleeping bags instead of wrapping so there is less pressure on the belly. It’s a very hard thing to deal with so I hope this helps you and bub out grows it quickly.

  • Infacol worked a treat with my son. Go to your GP and see what they recommend, If they arent helpful, go to another. Also your health nurse. We also tried Gripe water (i think that was what it was called) Didnt seem to do much, but others love it. Hang in there it will pass, things get allot easier the older they get. I also found sleeping my son on his stomach help (Not recommend by Sids and i know some people would be horrified i suggested it) Or during the day hold him upright on your chest while he is sleeping, also tummy time helped us too, but i know some babies that hated it.

  • Most babies grow out of this, but unfortunately the timeframe is not set in concrete. Get in touch with tresillian if you need some help… They are wonderful!

  • I’ve heard infacol works good

  • I hope you’ve found something useful

  • There are many cases of colics in babies that resulted in emergency room. I don’t think there is any perfect solution here except wait it out

  • I used Infacol before every bottle. Put a pillow under her mattress to elevate her head. On really bad occasions, I used a Eukebear Vaporiser. She is now 6 months old, does not need any of it, so you will pull through. It’s hard though, I know.

  • Try the Brauer’s Colic Relief, that is quite good. Both of my boys had it. Other than that, I’d suggest getting your doc to write you a script for Losec for his reflux.
